FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD GRADES OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
GETTING BACK FROM SPRING BREAK, THE EXAMS OF GRAMMAR AND MATH MUST TO BE TAKEN.
EXAM GUIDES WILL BE PUBLISHED NEXT  FRIDAY APRIL 7TH.
SCIENCE WILL BE  EVALUATED BY THE FOLLOWING PROJECT.
DATE TO DELIVERY: APRIL 24TH TO APRIL 28TH. 


SCIENCE PROJECT
THIRD GRADE
YOU NEED:
·         SMALL TOY CAR
·         A BALLOON
·         STRAW
·         TAPE

DIRECTIONS:
1.       CONECT THE STRAW TO THE BALLOON. USE TAPE TO PASTE THE STRAW AND BALLON TO THE TOY CAR.
2.       INFLATE THE BALLOON TO ITS FULL CAPACITY.
3.       PLACE THE CAR AT THE STRATING POINT OF THE RACE. KEEP THE TIPOF THE SRAW CLOSED.
4.       RELEASE THE TIPOF THE STRAW AND LET THE CAR GO.
5.       MEASURE THE DISTANCE THE CAR TRAVELS.

YOU NEED:
·         A SMALL AQUARIUM WITH SEALING LID OR PLASTIC BOTTLE WITH LID
·         SMALL PLANTS
·         SMALL RIVER ROCKS
·         SOIL
·         ACTIVED CHARCOAL

DIRECTIONS:
1.       USE AN AQUARIUM OR PLASTIC BOTTLE. CLEAN IT THOROUGHLY.
2.       PLACE A THIN LAYER OF THE SMALL RIVER ROCKS  ON THE BOTTOM AND ANOTHER THIN LAYER OF ACTIVITED CHARCOAL OVER THEM.
3.       PLACE A THICK LAYER OF SOIL ON TOP. PLANT YOUR PLANTS INTO THE SOIL.

1.       EVAPORATION IS THE PROCESS IN WICH PLANTS LOSE MOST OF THEIR WATER.
HOW CAN WE WATER PLANTS WITHOUT LOSING IT BY EVAPORATION? __________________________________________________
2.       HOW CAN WE RECOVER WATER FROM EVAPORATION?____________________________________
3.        IT IS GOOD OR BAD TO USE MORE WATER IN PLANTS. _____________________________________

YOU NEED:
·         20 PLASTIC CUPS
·         TWO CARDBOARD DISKS (30 CMS OF DIAMETER OR LESS APROX.)
·         STAPLER
·         A BIG BUCKET
·         WATER
·         A LONG WOODEN STICK

DIRECTIONS:
1.       PUT THE TOP OF THE CUP BESIDE THE EDGE OF THE CARDBOARD DISK.
2.       STAPLE THE DISK AND THE TOP OF THE CUP TOGETHER AT THAT POINT.
3.       PUT THE NEXT CUP RIGHT BESIDE THE FIRST ONE AND STAPLE THE TOP OF THE CUP THE OF THE CUP AND THE EDGE OF THE DISK AGAIN.
4.       REPEAT STEP THREE UNTIL THE DISK BE COMPLETELY COVERED WITH CUPS.
5.       PUT THE OTHER DISK ON TOP OF THE CUPS AND STAPLE THE TOPS TO THE EDGE OF THE DISK.
6.       MAKE A HOLE ON THE MIDDLE OF BOTH DISKS
7.       PUT THE STICK THROUG THE HOLES.
8.       PUT THE WATERWHEEL ON TOP OF THE BUCKET, HOLDING THE STICK IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION WITH THE WATERWHEEL POSITIONED VERTICALLY.
9.       POUR THE WATTER INTO THE CUP THAT BE POSITIONED AROUND 10 O´CLOCK.
10.   OBSERVE YOUR WATERWHEEL TURNING.
